Support Service Centre For Ethnic Minorities (SSCEM) is a subsidiary unit of Yuen Long Town Hall. The Centre established on 28 June 2009 which is currently sponsored by Home Affairs Department (HAD). Currently, we are running Chinese & English languages courses, computer courses, social and supportive network groups, orientation for new arrivals, understanding of local facts and laws, various empowerment classes and groups, festive and cultural activities, services for children and youth, women and families, employment counseling, social integration and racial harmony programmes etc.

To facilitate the integretion of the ethnic minorities into the society;
-To provide language training for the ethnic minorities to impove their proficiency in both Chinese and English;
-To build up the capacity of the ethnic minorities to tackle problems;
-To assist the ethnic minorities in getting access to community resources and social services.
